Got today’s photo the first thing. Yesterday was a soggy one, but this morning dawned bright and clear. These drops of water were clinging for dear life to a young maple tree limb just outside our back door.

My first guitar is an old Kay acoustic. The action was so high I filed the back of the nut to lower the strings. It played better after that but there was always a little bit of buzz. Savannah uses this old thing as a toy now. For some reason I just lost interest and quit playing several years ago.

I made a quick drive around the Lawrenceburg square this afternoon and this building caught my eye. It’s funny how you start to see things when you’re looking for a photograph-able subject.
A higher perspective that would have shown more sky would improve the shot, but I didn’t have a lot of time.

Completed a DIY project that I’d been putting off for quite a while. We had a small faucet leak and I ended up repairing it by replacing the faucet and the sink. Of course Amy wanted the expensive synthetic granite sink.
After the install I was actually impressed with it. Feels very solid and much quieter when water is running compared to the old light gauge stainless sink we installed when we first remodeled the house.
Anyway, since this took up all my free time today I thought it deserved to be the subject of today’s photo.

In my Twitter profile I mention that I’m ” too blessed to be stressed”. I guess I have my share of life problems, but in an eternal perspective, it’s all good because I have received God’s Amazing Grace. The acronym for grace that I like is God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense.
There is no such thing as hopelessness when you have a relationship with The Creator.

This morning I got to walk on my usual route. This spot is within sight of my place. You can’t see it very well, but there’s a lone duck swimming out near mid-frame. I may have to revisit this scene once the grass turns green this spring.
