The South Lawrence School second graders visited Helen Keller's Birthplace in Tuscumbia AL yesterday and I tagged along per Savannah's request. I had never been to Ivy Green so she didn't have to twist my arm. Everyone had a good time and learned a lot about Helen Keller. I'm planning on taking the family back to see “The Miracle Worker” drama at Ivy Green next summer. Can't believe we haven't gone before now actually! If you have not visited, I highly recommend it.
