Yes, actor Danny Glover was giving a talk in Watertown and he stayed at the hotel I’ve been working in this week.
Today we happened to be in the lobby when Mr. Glover came through. I wasn’t going to bother him for a photo, but he was gracious and indulged the front desk staff then offered me the opportunity also.
I also saw him later on the third floor when he was on his way out. His hands were full with his bags so I called the elevator for him.
An interesting fact is that he was wearing Vibram Five-Finger shoes. I asked him about them and he said he had been wearing them for five years after he saw an entire film crew wearing them and raving about them.
I did get a photo made with my phone but someone else’s shot was better so I had them send it to me. This is a bit outside my rules for this project, but I’m making an exception.
