Mind Mapping with MindJet
08th December 2006
The best way to “think it” is to “ink it”! Since becoming a student of learning and personal improvement I have discovered that it is vital to capture ideas on paper or electronically for later evaluation and use.
As part of a Dave Lakhani coaching group I learned about Mind Mapping software by a company called MindJet. Dave is a “rabid fan” and although I’ve only recently tried the software I can say that it is awesome!
I just learned about a webinar that Dave is doing for MindJet. Here are the details:
The webinar is called “Use The Power of an Hour & MindManager to Map 2007 Goals” and will show people how they can become more focused, and efficient in achieving business and personal goals by investing just one productive hour per day.
Dave plans to talk about his powerful formula for maximizing every hour, show people how to create what he calls “Fearsome Focus®” to maximize “personal effectiveness, help others identify and control once and for all the distractions that keep them from reaching their goals and create a “Master Life Vision Map.”
Here are the details, if you’re interested in attending:
Wednesday, December 13th
1:00- 2:00pm Pacific Standard Time

Start your online business for 33 cents on the dollar!
25th October 2006
Ok, I want to tell you a little bit about how I started building my web presence and business, but I’m more excited about the opportunity that YOU have to get start your own successful online business. Hint: YOU can start your own web business the same way I did, but but between now and midnight on Halloween you can SLASH your up front investment by 66%. . .Sound interesting? I thought so!
First though I want to a little about my story.
I have always been interested in computers and I spent my share of time playing PC games, etc. in the early 90’s. I was a little bit slow to see the commercial potential of the internet, but about four years ago I started looking around for ways to make money online.
My problem (I thought) was that I didn’t know HTML or anything about networks or web server software, etc. As it turns out that was really not a problem at all. . .I’ll tell you why later. (more…)
What’s the Power of an Hour?
19th October 2006
I just got off a live teleconference with master of persuasion, Dave Lakhani. He and Ben Mack were training on developing the essence of your brand for your business. Excellent stuff and I can’t wait to go through the process of developing my own brand.
If you’d like to check Dave out start at his Bold Approach site or his Blog.
I don’t have it yet, but I expect to get his new book soon. It’s called Power of an Hour and promises to help you to create consistent and ongoing improvement in your game in just one hour per week. A quote from the site:
The Power of an Hour identifies specific core areas of personal, professional, and business improvement, then guides you through a step-by-step process that keeps you focused so you can reinvent your life and business. The results are fast and predictable.
Power of an Hour is a brand new book and is available at Amazon. If you’ve already read it don’t spoil it for me!
but do feel free to leave your comments about it. I will review it soon. Stay tuned.
