WeBeJeeping! Are you?

webejeep-postI just finished the “1.0″ version of my third official client website. You can read about the other two by clicking on the “WordPress Design Services” button at the top of the page. This new site was for Gilbert Jeeps and 4×4′s, a used Jeeps dealer in Athens AL. This was one of those fun projects where the niche was fun and the current needs were just big enough to create a challenge, but small enough to get my arms around.

The problem to be solved was basically a website that hadn’t had a design update since about 1998. It was still doing a pretty good job of presenting the inventory of used Jeeps to visitors and was ranked very good (#2 at Google at the time of this writing) for the main keyword, “used jeeps”.

Tuesday, November 18th, 2008

Recently Kyle Johnson and I partnered up to start producing highlight films for high school sports starting with Loretto High School. Running back and defensive back Cody Cozart was the first victim. Take a look and please let us know what you think by leaving a comment. If you know of a college recruiter looking for a good running back, feel free to share.

What are your strategies for getting referrals for your business? If you have any kind of business you must get referrals and even more important is having a strategy so that you can get referrals consistently.

Especially if you have a network marketing business.

If you have any kind of business you should be reading Seth Godin. This is the first time I’ve linked to Seth’s Blog, but he is a fantastic marketer and I like to keep up with what he has to say and I recommend you do the same.

Check out this post on Seth’s Blog about getting referrals for your business.

Hint: YOU can start your own web business the same way I did, but but between now and midnight on Halloween you can SLASH your up front investment by 66%. . .Sound interesting? I thought so!

First though I want to a little about my story.

I have always been interested in computers and I spent my share of time playing PC games, etc. in the early 90′s. I was a little bit slow to see the commercial potential of the internet, but about four years ago I started looking around for ways to make money online.

My problem (I thought) was that I didn’t know HTML or anything about networks or web server software, etc. As it turns out that was really not a problem at all. . .I’ll tell you why later. Read More→
