Terrible Service [photos 2012]

The events of this afternoon made me really wish I was back in Vietnam. The service over there in general is light years ahead of Watertown NY, at least with the transportation companies. This is despite the fact that most of them don’t speak English!

After waiting almost forty five minutes for a dirty cab where the only assistance from the driver is to pop the trunk, we get to the Watertown “International” Airport. American Airlines checks us in, takes our bags and within ten minutes announce that the 5pm flight out has been cancelled. They won’t transfer the tickets or give refunds.

There probably is some snow in Chicago, where our flight connects to, but I think that was only an excuse for canceling a flight that had very few passengers.

There was another forty five minute wait to get a cab back to a hotel for the night. All in all a day of terrible service.

Oh well I just hope the weather holds out for the early bird flight in the mornimg. Here’s the Watertown Airport:
