I have an old buddy who’s a little bit more famous tonight. John Paul White of The Civil Wars with partner Joy Williams won two Grammys.
As luck would have it my daughter was prowling in a drawer this afternoon and ran across this old photo of the band we were in about twenty years ago.
The awards are well deserved. John has worked hard and persevered to get to this point in his career. Finding a very talented partner in Joy Williams didn’t hurt either!
The original photo was taken with a Canon Rebel SII with Kodak black and white film on Broad Street in Loretto, TN. It was sometime in the summer of 1993.
